デニスとフィオナは、ガーデニングに情熱を燃やす親娘です。

デニスは4人の娘と2人の息子に恵まれ、今では夫婦二人で北の美しい歴史の町、ヨークに住んでいます。　
元はTV局のプロデューサーで有名な俳優やミュージシャンとも仕事をしていましたが、今は引退してテラスハウスの小さな庭でガーデニングを楽しみ、隣家の使われていない庭に野菜を育てています。

フィオナはデニスの長女で、現在コッツウォルズ地方に、家族や犬と暮らしています。

彼女は、ストラットフォード・アポン・エイボンというシェークスピアの生家のある町の、王立劇場・ロイヤル・シェイクスピア・シアターで、衣装やヘア・メイク部門のマネージャーをしています。　
庭は広大で、びっくりするくらい大きなウッドデッキのある家に住んでいますが、仕事が忙しく思うようにガーデニングに打ち込めないのが悩みの種です。

Dennis and Fiona (Father and Daughter) both have great passion for gardens and gardening.

Dennis, a father of four daughters and two sons lives in the beautiful city of York.

He has had a career in Television working with many famous actors and musicians. Now a retired gentleman he enjoys taking care of his own garden and the neighbours "borrowed" garden which he uses for growing vegetables.

Fiona is Dennis's eldest daughter and lives in the Cotswolds with her family and her dogs. She is working as wardrobe and makeup manager at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford Upon Avon. She has a large garden and a large outdoor entertainment area. Her schedule is very tough so her love for gardening in not her highest priority at the moment.
