ドイントン(Doynton)にある、15エイカーという広大な敷地に建つジョージアンスタイルの古い牧師館を訪ねた。　
この12年間で修復作業を続けてきている。

庭は、伝統的な要素とモダンさを併せ持っていて、それらを融合させたいくつものガーデン・ルームズから成り立っている。　借景の庭であり、大きなキッチンガーデンやカナル、野菜畑、フルーツケイジと呼ばれるネットで囲まれた果樹園やら、ツリーハウスまであるんだ。

この庭は一年に一度しか公開されないから、ぼくも今回初めて訪ねたんだけど素晴らしい庭だよ。

The Georgian Rectory in Doynton is a 15 acre estate. It has been renovated over the last 12 yrs.

The garden has a diversity of modern and traditional elements, fused to create a series of garden rooms. It is landscaped and has large kitchen garden, a canal, vegetable plots, fruit cages and a tree house.

The garden is only open once a year and this is the first time to visit it. I think it's an excellent garden.
